Triple E Framework
The Triple E Framework, developed by Professor Liz Kolb, provides guidelines to effectively use technology in the classroom. The framework puts the focus on pedagogy rather than the tool. The three E’s for effective technology use are Enhance, Engage, and Extend.
Why This Badge?
Understanding and implementing the Triple E framework means that teachers are determining the best instructional strategies and then finding the right tech tools to support them. Ultimately, this badge should help teachers become more of a critical consumer of the technology they are using, and encourage them to start with the pedagogy and find the tool that best fits.
