The Technology Integration Matrix (TIM), developed by the Florida Center for Instructional Technology, is a framework for integrating technology effectively into the classroom. It provides leveled technology integration (entry, adoption, adaptation, infusion, and transformation) for five different learning environments (active, collaborative, constructive, authentic, and goal-directed).
Why This Badge?
All technology integration is not created equal! The Technology Integration Matrix helps inject more substance into the SAMR model. The TIM will help teachers understand what scaffolded and meaningful technology integration looks like in different classroom learning environments.
