Why This Badge?

Google Screencast helps educators meet the learning preferences of their students by allowing teachers to create and share flipped lessons for students to review at their own time and at their own pace. Teachers can also provide direct feedback to students, reteach a concept that students are struggling with, and provide a library of resources for students to reuse as the school year progresses – all with the Google Screencast app. As students review these screencasts, they can search and even translate the transcript into their preferred language! In addition, students can utilize Screencast for many purposes as well -- from showcasing their classwork to demonstrating mastery of content.
