Google Classroom: Read Along
Read Along allows teachers to track and understand students' reading progress, modify their teaching approach through regular and actionable data, and share student progress with parents and school leaders. Note: Read Along is a part of the Teaching and Learning and Education Plus plans, which are paid Google for Education tiers. Please check with your school or district to see which edition you currently have. You will need access to one of these editions to complete this badge.
Why This Badge?
With Read Along in Google Classroom, teachers can assign reading assignments effortlessly and get insights into the overall class performance and individual students’ reading performance, including data for each assignment on accuracy, speed, and comprehension. Read Along has a library of diverse reading materials featuring illustrations and an engaging reading experience. It provides real-time feedback to students, offers assistance when they struggle, encourages and rewards them with stars and badges when they do well, and guides them along as they progress through the story.
